It's a small room, but it's plenty big enough for me. Bathroom/showers are one door down from me. (The set-up is sort of like Willard Hall.)For the most part, my material self has settled into the space. There are designated niches for things (chainmail, electronics, food, meds, etc all have their place), and I still have plenty of space to move around in.
My biggest problem is my two large luggage items. They won't fit in the upper cabinet (where my final luggage is lurking), and I don't have anywhere to put them that's out of the way.
So... creative improvisation. One acts as bed-side table/storage chest. One acts as the temporary holding bay for laundry.
Incidentally, they don't believe in sheets of fabric softener here. Bah.
